How to Choose Portable Power Capacity
A short guide to matching power station capacity with trip length, device wattage, and charging access.

Start with the devices that need power. Phones, cameras, and lighting need far less capacity than portable fridges, drone batteries, laptops, or compact cooking gear.
A 512Wh station is usually enough for weekend camping and vehicle backup. A 1024Wh station is better for multi-day stays, RV travel, field production, and higher-output devices.
If the setup will stay off-grid for longer periods, plan charging access at the same time. Solar panels and vehicle charging can turn a simple battery into a practical outdoor energy routine.
